Soft Play Room

The Soft Play Room is well equipped for small groups of children to use their large motor skills to build, roll, jump, climb, sit or crawl. We have large mats covering the floor and a wide variety of small and large pieces of soft play equipment for the children to use. There is also space for a boat ball pool, wobble board and play tunnel. The equipment is clean, well maintained and of very bright primary colours.

In addition to the soft play equipment the children can also access beanbags
and brightly coloured plastic balls.

A variety of stimulating activities can take place within the room such as obstacle courses, tower building, making houses etc and the room will be supervised at all times.

Quiet Room

Adjacent to the soft play room is our quiet room. This has a selection of puzzles for all age ranges, puppets, books and music. The nursery also uses this room before lunch and teatime for all the children to come together for a singing session. A range of songs will be introduced from nursery rhymes and number songs to action songs and new material especially at festive times of the year. We will also use a variety of equipment during these sessions such as musical instruments as well as unaccompanied singing.
