The nursery
garden is designed to give the children space to play, learn and investigate.
One side of the garden is soft surfaced which gives the children opportunities
for bike riding, obstacle courses, running races, football etc. There is
a home corner area for children to express themselves through role-play
and a large chalkboard for creative moments.
The other side
of the garden is grass based and here the children
can ride bikes, drive cars, read stories on the bench or look for bugs in
the soil..
There is also a shaded area in the garden for the hot summers we hope to
get!
In the garden we also have an area for children to plant, grow and care for their own flowers and vegetables. There is a herb garden for the children's interest and is a fun sensory experience for all.
We visit the
local park for regular walks, to play parachute games or play football.
We also use the beach for walks of interest and pebble collecting.
All outings are subject to parental consent.
