Baby Room

Our 3 base baby room is brightly coloured and is a safe and secure environment, for babies from 6 weeks to 2 years. We have a separate sleeping room for the babies, a soft carpet area for babies to explore and play and a wipe clean area which incorporates our kitchen and ensures a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

During their day at Abracadabra we endeavor to follow the individual
babies routine, keeping where possible very close to the routine you
as a parent have already set up at home.

Drinks, Milk and Nappies

At Abracadabra we provide a range of SMA and Cow & Gate formula milk including follow on milks, we move onto cows' milk when you do. If you use a different kind of formula milk then you can send this into the nursery. We supply Avent feeding bottles and beakers using a wide range of teats from birth to variable flow teats, also spouts with the option to use the any way up cup system. Babies have their water with them throughout the day and milk is given to them according to your babies routine.

Abracadabra provides nappies from Topak which are environmentally friendly in sizes to suit all ages of babies up until potty training. Baby wipes or cotton wool and water are used, whichever you prefer.

Meal Times

Feeding time at Abracadabra is a fun and enjoyable time. The younger babies will eat in the baby room, whilst some of the older babies may go down to the dining room to eat with the Two's and Pre-schooler's. They can sit at the tables in bucket chairs and be encouraged to use their fork and spoon and hold their beaker. A baby room member of staff will always be there to help and encourage them. We offer a wide range of food and babies are encouraged to try all sorts of tastes and textures. We also provide your baby with first taste foods which will be discussed with you before your baby starts. (See meal times for more information)
